My 'lens' was very skeptical from the beginning since the entire project is based on false grounds. The project did not create many new ideas for my photos.
My 'lens' also did not change. This project did not motivate me or inspire me to try anything new with my photography. No incentive to break the boundaries of photography, the only effort I put in to this project was to post pictures, taken for reasons completely unrelated to this class or the project. I did not visually start seeing signs of hope, and I still believe this project was a waste of time. More of a daily chore than an exciting photography project. So many things this class could have thought me: how to work a camera, how to frame a subject, how to work lighting, how to do portraiture, the importance of not over-editing your pictures, how to judge a good picture from a boring one, and much more. Instead we're doing an unrelated project about "signs of hope", barely grounded in psychology. Oh.
I do not believe the photo blog experience will help me for any reason in the future. The build-your-own-website experience was very, very limited because unless you're very skilled with coding, Blogger does not offer you many options to visually change the layout of the website. Anything else this website could have thought me, I already figured out from literally any other site.
